Dr. Page Brooks serves as President of the Restoration Initiative and director of the Restoration Institute. He earned a Th.M. from the University of Stellenbosch, a Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently a postgraduate student at the Free University of Amsterdam in the area of ethics and philosophy of religion. He also serves as Lead Pastor of Mosaic Community Churches, and preaches at the Canal Street Church location. He is married to Dr. Ashley Brooks and has three children.
Dr. Dedra N. Louis serves as a board member of the Restoration Initiative and is the Senior Editor for the Restoration Institute Journal and Blog. She received her B.A. in Print Journalism from Southern University at New Orleans in 1995. She received her master’s degree in Counseling, completing a dual track in School Counseling and Community Counseling, in 2007 and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2017 from the University of Holy Cross. Dr. Louis has had diverse experiences as a counselor for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, victims and witnesses of violent crimes, law enforcement, offenders within parish and state correctional facilities, substance abuse, chronically homeless, disaster recovery, and managed care organizations. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor (CCFC). Her dissertation was titled, “EXPERIENCES OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN OFFENDERS WHO
SUCCESSFULLY RE-ENTERED SOCIETY AFTER INCARCERATION.”
